Description: Among the most trusted and most highly coveted of all Model 12s in today's market are these smaller gauge (20 gauge) shotguns in the deluxe type configurations with ribbed barrels. This is a somewhat rare first year Model 12 Super Grade Field Gun (1955) with a 28" solid, matted rib barrel in 20 gauge with a Modified choke. They are also often referred to as "Super Field" or "Special Field". This is a rock solid shotgun with a mirror bore and flawless butter smooth mechanics, but priced substantially lower than my usual, similar offerings due to some honest blue wear and light handling marks to the beautiful wood set.
