Looking to sell a GORGEOUS Winchester Pigeon Grade Model 23 XTR 20 Gauge Shotgun. Manufactured from 1978 to 1988, this Model 23 features dual white bead sights on the matte vent rib, 3 inch chambers with ejectors, and chokes marked FULL/MOD . The boxlock action displays floral scroll engraving on all sides and a solitary pigeon on the underside and features a single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut beavertail forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with Winchester/Pachmayr recoil pad. Includes original box and a Winchester takedown case. Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb, 2 7/16 inch drop at heel, and 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs.. Serial #PWK202926
Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The box and case are very good (locking latch absent). Mechanically excellent. Comes w/ Winchester manual/paperwork.
