Made in the early 2000s and consigned by the estate of the original owner, serials W38529 (Gun 1) and W38530 (Gun 2) are identical in every respect. Each has two barrel sets (26-inch fixed IC/M & 28-inch fixed IC/M, vent ribs with single ivory beads, ejectors, 3-inch chambers), an automatic safety, single select mechanical trigger and is stocked in AAA Fancy walnut (beavertail forend with ebony accent, pistol grip butt with leather-covered recoil pad, fine wrap checkering accented with ribbons and fleurs). ENGRAVING: Each is dressed with full coverage scroll surrounding three gold field scenes (rising pheasant, dog, pair of resting birds ) and gold accents (lab bust, gun number, model legend on cap). The scroll continues over the chambers, latches, levers, guards, tangs and screws. DIMENSIONS: Weight (Gun 1, 28-inch) is 7.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.45 inches, drops are 1.4 and 2.20 inches, and cast off is approximately .30-inch. CONSTRICTIONS: Gun 1 28-inch is .012/.025 and 26-inch is .005/.013.
