Beautiful Winchester Model 12, 20 Ga field gun with 26'' full choke barrel. Made in 1948 the gun appears to have been reblued at some point many years ago. The mechanical condition of the wood and metal is perfect! If you are looking for a shooter to enjoy look no further as the gun is in 100% mint condition. The metal is perfect there are some glaring issues in the photography that look like worn areas but its just the light creating a shine on the metal. I had bought the gun for a shooter and had wanted one that was mechanically perfect to have Simmons restore with a vent rib and upgrade the wood. Also being full choke and good thick wall would make an excellent canidate to have Briley Manufacturing install their patented thin wall screw in chokes. I have had Briley do these on some model 12s and model 42s with outstanding results allowing the use of steel shot. These guns were built with a level of craftmenship and American pride you just dont get with the modern black plastic stuff. I will cover shipping UPS and insurance to you FFL.
