Winchester Model 1897, 12 Gauge Pump, 1951 Vintage
Description: Winchester made over a million Model 97's between 1897 and 1957, but we rarely see them in as nice of condition as this example. Produced in 1951 it still retains 85% of its original blue and has an excellent bore. The walnut stocks have most of the original finish and the bore is perfect. There is an area on the right side, at the rear of the receiver that has some scratches where someone improperly attempted to remove a small area of corrosion. Otherwise the gun is in excellent condition and would belong in most any collection. Great cowboy action gun.
