Winchester Model 50 20 Gauge Featherweight Serial number 0001
Description:
That's right, serial number 0001 Winchester model 50 20 gauge featherweight, roll stamped receiver with gold wash, barrel is a round post vent rib 26" improved cylinder, with a red Bradley bead, forend has pigeon grade wood and pigeon grade checkering, butt has plastic factory butt and spectacular grain and figure. Gun looks like it was never fired, excellent condition without a flaw on it, bore is as new. Ronald Stadt's book "Winchesters Shotguns and Shotshells" second edition mentions the gun on page 242, and I will include the book with the gun. It states there were about 33 experimental featherweight 20 grade frames and this is one of those. It also states that gun 0001 was a roll engraved gold washed receiver that ended up disappearing. When I bought the gun I was told it belonged to a Winchester executive. Very nice looking gun. I will ship to a ffl only to the lower 48 only minus California for a flat $50 insured. I am not a ffl so make sure your ffl will accept from me with a copy of my DL. I can ship from a ffl for an additional $20. I will accept Visa and Mastercard for a 3% fee.
