Description:
Winchester Model 42 plain barrel .410 3" chamber with modified choke, #75xxx, mfgd 1949. This shotgun retains 95% original factory blue showing mild operational wear, a finish loss spot on the underside of the barrel from an amateurish takedown effort, and almost no edge wear. The top of the receiver is toning to purple and there is one spot on the left side of the receiver mildly toning as well. The buttstock retains 97% of the finish with only a couple dents and one 1" scratch. The pump handle is in 98% condition. The buttplate is 98%. The bore is bright and clean, mechanics function perfectly.

All in all a very presentable, and economical, Model 42 with the desireable modified choke.
