Selling for a friend a well used Model 42 Winchester in Field Grade. Although well used this gun functions smooth as silk. The gun was built in 1946 and is all original right down to the butt plate. The gun has 26 inch barrel and factory full choke. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 14 over the Winchester plastic butt plate. Weight is 6 pounds 2 ounces. There is old corrosion on the receiver and bluing is worn as you can see in the pictures but it is all there with no cracks or repairs and the screws look untouched. Take down is smooth and tight, and action functions perfectly. Will make a nice little shooter that you don't worry about putting a mark on but will still function as it should
