Winchester ~ Model 42 ~ Skeet ~ 410 Gauge ~ 1963 Production

Description:
This is a Winchester Model 42 bought in the white by Simmons Gun Specialties, and fitted with a Simmons vent rib in 1962 and 1963. This example has the left side barrel marked "-WINCHESTER- / -TRADE MARK-", "-MODEL 42-410-3 IN. CHAM.- / MADE IN U.S.A.-WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-" and marked "SKEET". The bottom of the receiver extension and receiver are both marked "163373". The left of the barrel rib is marked "SIMMONS GUN SPECIALTIES INC. KANSAS CITY, MO". There is a pink fiber-optic bead attached to a base at the front of the rib and a smaller white mid-bead. The top of the rib has a matching serrated extension. The stocks are two piece Fagen checkered walnut with a large oval slide handle, silver scroll engraved grip cap, and checkered black hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Comes with copied paper from the Simmons 1962 catalog. .410 Bore
