Rare Winchester Model 23 Classic Side by Side 28 Gauge w/ 26" Barrels & Travel Case ** Imported for Only 2 Years! 1986-1987 **

Description:
Winchester Model 23 Classic fitted with 26 inch barrels with vent rib (choked MOD/I.C.) & 2 white sight beads, gold finished single select trigger, deluxe hand-checkered walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm with ebony insert, ejectors, steel pistol grip cap, gold raised relief pheasant on the bottom of receiver, 5/8 inch Winchester recoil pad, brass initial plate inset into bottom of stock, blue finished with scroll engraving, and chambered in 2 3/4 inch 28 Gauge.  Includes factory presentation case with key.  This Japanese manufactured Model 23 Classic is in very fine original condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finish.  The forearm retains 99%+ original finish, with a few minor handling marks/dings.  The stock retains 99% original finish, again with minor handling marks/dings/scuffs.  The bores are bright and the actrion is tight and functions as new.  The case is in fine condition, showing some wear from use, mostly at the ends.
