Interesting early production Pre-war Model 21 20ga gun. This gun build with 26" barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, auto ejectors, and auto safety. Gun has the early style flat knob pistol grip. Buttstock terimates with its original WRA Co. buttplate. Receiver is blued and unengraved. Housed in an original Winchester Repeating Arms Co. box this gun was shipping in in 1939 from the factory with corresponding repair number on the box. Box is absolutely genuine, authentic, and real and came with this gun from that time. Guaranteed.
Gun remains in excellent all original condition. Barrels with about 90% original blue. There is some loss above the breech, no pitting, but blue wear in that area. Forend and buttstock are excellent with original finishes and minor handling marks. Frame with about 90% original blue. Trigger guard has toned but has some blue left on the box. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Box is excellent for its age.
Gun is accompanied by a Cody Letter with the repair noted from 1939.
