Winchester Model 12 Riot gun 16 ga Extremely Rare

Up for sale I have another great pre 64 Winchester. This one is a Model 12 riot gun chambered in 16 ga. These are almost non existent and this is the only one ive ever seen. This one was made in 1950 and the speculation on them were, that Winchester converted tons of 12 gauge riot guns to trench guns during the war. Therefore they ran out of 12 ga riot barrels, then when a prison or police department would need a gun right after the war sometimes they would have to send out a 16ga. There is also documentation in the Winchester book that Winchester would make anything you wanted back then on a special order $8.00 up charge. There are no military markings on the gun so who knows the story behind it but it's a killer piece either way. The wood is in outstanding original condition with very light handling marks. There is some blue thin in spots on high edges and under the reciever with lots of paint still on the safety. As always I guarantee it to be untouched and original or your money back.
