This serial number is 24,850 from when you typically see parkerized guns, Bruce Canfield notes that lower serial number guns cannot be discounted. Barrel has standard Winchester factory markings with ""Flaming Bomb""/ Winchester proof. Receiver's right side has ""U.S.- Flaming Bomb"", stock show expected handling wear with light surface scratches a dings. Left side is marked with ""G.H.D.""/faint crossed cannon/NOPM-61. More than likely the NOPM stands for Naval Ordnance Plant Macon and this trench gun was used by MP's. Action functions correctly. Great looking Model 12!
