"WEATHERBY ATHENA GRADE III SHOTGUN 12 GAUGE (S16777)

Description:
"SN: D008717 made between 1990-2007 in Japan. 12 gauge over-under shotgun with 28" vent rib barrels with a single brass bead sight, 3" chambers and removable chokes (MOD/FULL). Side plate box lock action with ejectors, selective single trigger and a manual safety. 14 ½" LOP to a black Pachmayr decelerator pad with a drop of 1 ½" to 2 ¼" and an overall weight of 7lbs 10oz. Chambers have some pitting noted but the bores are bright and in excellent condition. Barrels are in very good condition with some light wear and handling marks and the engraved coin finish action is in good condition with some patina in the finish itself but free of any rust, pitting or fading of the gold inlay. Stock and forearm are both in near excellent condition with very little wear or handling marks. Action locks up tight and top lever rests right of center.
