BROWNING BSS "BOTTLE" SPORTER SET 12 & 20 GAUGE w/CASES
Description: On consignment we have a Browning BSS "Bottle" Sporter 2- gun set of side-by-side shotguns in 12 and 20 Gauge. This is one of 100 such sets special ordered for Bottle Sporting Goods of Wichita, Kansas in 1976. This set is serial number 6 of 100, and features matching shotguns with single selective triggers, 3" chambers with ejectors, checkered straight grip walnut stocks, beavertail forend, coin finished receiver with game scene engraving and carved fences, and 26" solid rib barrels with blued finish, engraving at the chambers. The 12 Gauge gun is in excellent condition, and is choked Full/Modified. The 20 gauge gun shows a few handling marks with light rust spots showing on the lower tang, and has a replacement recoil pad. It is choked Modified/Improved Cylinder. Both guns come in factory Naugahyde takedown cases. Serial numbers are CCCA-6 and CCCB-6. Yes, we will accept firearms on trade. Email us for details.
