The Krieghoff K80 has been the most popular competition gun in the United States for many decades and for good reason. THEY WIN TOURNAMENTS AND BRING GREAT PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP. The receiver on the K80 is CNC machined from solid forged steel, then meticulously hand fit and finished by the best of German gunmakers.  Krieghoff makes the K80 gun in many models, differing mostly in the amount of decoration, the action being the same on their least or most expensive guns.  The gun we have here is very special indeed, being custom ordered with HERITAGE GAME SCENE #1 ENGRAVING EXECUTED AND SIGNED BY JANA SCHILLING, ONE OF KRIEGHOFF’S MOST SOUGHT AFTER MASTER ENGRAVERS.  Spend some time studying the high-definition photos and you will understand why such high demand…her work is simply stunning and guns with her work sell quickly and for a noticeable premium over other guns with the same engraving pattern.  The wood appears to be a Level 4 upgrade of a nice stick of Turkish walnut with the adjustable comb and factory pad.  Other options are the gold trigger group.  To order this gun new today would cost over $45,000.  The most desirable 32” barrels with tapered rib (10mm to 6mm) retain 99% of their original blue and fit tight on the trunnions and standing breach.  VFI has a full time Krieghoff trained and certified gunsmith on the premises and this gun has had its “annual” and is in excellent mechanical condition.  It comes in a Krieghoff case with two extended Titanium chokes (SK/IC) and two near flush chokes labeled #4 and #5.  There are the usual wrenches, an extra trigger guard with gold initials inlaid, and a set of 28-gauge Briley lightweight sub-gauge tubes.  The wood is stunningly figured and has barely a mark on it anywhere with excellent checkering and left/right palm swells.  Weighing 8lbs. 14oz. and balanced dead on the hinge pin, the gun moves smoothly and methodically to the shoulder and target.  SEE THE SPECIFICATIONS BELOW.  Built around 2008, it has not been shot much at all and should last several lifetimes with proper maintenance.  This is a stunning gun, one that will be admired by you and those who love the finest gun art.  She is a shooting machine as well!  Thanks for looking.  Jana Schilling engraved guns rarely come up for sale, so don’t hesitate or she will be in someone else’s gun cabinet instead of yours!
