Perazzi MX8-20 - SCO ENGRAVED, 20/28 GAUGE SET, 99%, vintage firearms inc
Description: General Specs: Perazzi, Year 1998, 20; 28 Gauge, 7lbs. 3oz., Screw-in Chokes, LOP 14 7/8", DAH 2", DAC 1 9/16" Serial Number: 88240 The Perazzi over/under has earned its place in history as one of the most respected, competition-built shotguns in modern times. Seen at the top competitions world-wide, there are no other makers that can hold a candle to the Perazzi over/under design. Perazzi has won more international tournaments than all the other makers combined. This delightful Perazzi 20 gauge/28 gauge two-barrel set was made for hunting game or crushing clays with its 29 1/2” barrels, petite field style forend, and dynamic, fast handling characteristics. Perazzi is known for its receiver being very shallow making the gun sleek and easy on the eye. Perazzi has built this over/under on a “scaled frame” built to 20ga. standards. The SCO GRADE is hand engraved and stocked in very well figured European walnut and a two-gauge set like this gun retails at well over $40K! Just look at the detail in the fine scroll and floral engravings, the perfection of wood-to-metal fit, the superbly engineered drop out trigger group…simply the best. Even the trigger guard and trigger plate have full coverage scroll and floral engraving. This is a gorgeous gun! The previous owner preferred a two-trigger gun for instant selection of choke simply by choosing a trigger. Any gunner that has become accustomed to double trigger two-barreled guns understands the advantage. The gun also came with a drop-out trigger group with a single selective trigger. Both are gold washed and there are extra flat springs and tools included for both sets in the case. The barrels have perfect mirror bores, 99% blue, clear and sharp lettering, and a tapered game rib. There aren’t even any tiny handling marks in the wood…the gun is as new. The barrels are tight on the trunnions and breech face like a new gun with the top lever way right of center. THIS GUN HAS BEEN FIRED VERY LITTLE. THERE IS BARELY A VISIBLE PRIMER MARK ON THE STANDING BREECH! The case is like new and all papers and accessories are intact. See the tables below for specifications, review the photos, and you will want this gun! There are very few MX8/20 SCO Game Guns ever offered for sale, so don’t miss out on this great Perazzi. It would take over a year to have one made and cost twice as much as our price. IF YOU DON’T WANT ONE OF THE TRIGGER GROUPS LET US KNOW AND WE CAN SELL IT SEPARATELY. Don’t let this one get away!
