Merkel -- 2001EL, High-Quality, Engraved Over/Under 28in Barrels --- 12 Gauge

Description:
This over/under Merkel 2001EL shotgun is in caliber 12/70 & in excellent condition -- seems to have been hardly fired and lightly used. The Kersten closure is absolutely tight. 28 inch barrels -- mirror-bright and flawless. One barrel is 1/1 choke, the other 1/2 choke. The weapon has an unusual and very beautiful, dark stock wood. The receiver is coin-engraved with hunting motifs. Single trigger. The weapon has light handling marks (four very small marks on the foreend and one larger handling gouge in the stock), otherwise very clean. Weapon was manfactured in March of '99.

Acquired by me while stationed in Germany several years ago. Blue Book of Gun Values lists Merkel 2001 EL at a value of $8800+ for a 95% -- which this weapon exceeds.
