A.M. Mainwaring - Belgian made and Paris retailed. Seven pin sidelock ejector gun with intercepting safety sears. Lovely acanthus style scroll engraving. High degree of original case color. Well figured straight grained wood wood attractive mineral streaks. Checkering is sharp. Long trigger guard tang. European style beavertail forend. Articulated front trigger. Toledo Steel barrels from England. Mirror bores measure .629 with cylinder and full chokes. Barrels measure 27 3/8". Chambers measure 3". Manual safety. Disc set firing pins. Date code reveals a 1927 production date. Tight on face / no loose ribs / no cracks to wood. LOP - 14 7/8". Drop at comb - 1 3/8". Drop at heel - 2 1/2". Weight of the gun is 6 LBS 6 OZ.
