MATCHED PAIR OF H.J. HUSSEY - IMPERIAL EJECTOR GAME GUNS - 12 GAUGE - HIGH CONDITION

Description:
Matched pair of HJ Hussey, 88 Jermyn Street, London Imperial Ejector 12 gauge guns. Excellent condition with minimal use and wear. Well figured wood on both. Marked #1 and #2 on top lever and forend iron. Includes a leather case with canvas over case for one gun with accoutrements as shown. Both guns are tight on face with no loose ribs and no cracks to wood. Mirror bores. Ejectors. Auto safety. Rolled edge trigger guards. Barrels are 28" with 2 1/2" original chambers. Clean original proof marks at 1 1/8 OZ with no reproof marks. Vacant stock ovals. The specifics on both guns are listed below.

Gun #1 features a right barrel at .733 with 3/1000 choke (Skeet). Left barrel is .733 with 23/1000 choke (Imp Mod). Leather covered pad is 3/4". LOP is 14 5/8". Drop at comb - 1 1/2". Drop at heel - 2 1/8". Cast off. Weight is 6 LBS 7 3/4 OZ. 

Guun #2 features a right barrel at .732 with 13/1000 choke (Mod). Left barrel is .731 with 25/1000 choke (Imp Mod). Leather covered pad is 1". LOP is 15". Drop at comb 1 1/2". Drop at heel - 2 1/8". Cast off. Weight is 6 LBS 9 1/4 OZ. 

HJ Hussey LTD was at 88 Jermyn Street in the 1911 to 1914 time period so I believe this would be a good estimate for the date of production. The Imperial Ejector was the highest grade of Hussey Guns. 

To assist with your viewing of individual guns the sequence of photos begins for a gun with the top lever and ends with the forend iron. 

Packing, shipping and insurance is $250. Guns will be shipped in two seperate boxes and will include a plastic case for the second gun. 

It is hard to find a high condition pair of vintage guns.
