For Sale Is A 28 Bore David Mckay Brown Round Action Circa 1995, Over Under Shotgun Fitted With Highly Figured English Straight Grip Stock and Triggerplate Lock. This is the First One Made With Celtic Style, Fine Scroll Engraving. Engraving Done by Charles Lee. Built With A Beautiful Balance Point On The Hinge, Single Trigger, Barrel Has Tapered Solid Rib Which Is Raised And Solid File Cut, Solid Mid Rib. Automatic Safety With Gold Inlaid “Safe”. Action Is Engraved In A Wonderfully Detailed Arabesque Pattern Showing Intertwined Foliate Tendrils Over A Case Color Finish. “David Mckay Brown” Engraved In Ribbons On Both Sides Of The Receiver. Gun Is Stocked In Special Order Exhibition Walnut Which Is Lighter In Color With Deep Contrasting Grain With Elegant Flow. Straight Grip With Extra Long Trigger Tang. Checkered Butt With Steel, Elegantly Engraved Toe And Heel. Gold Oval With “RAR” Engraved. Barrel Is Marked “David Mckay Brown Gunmakers Ltd. 32 Hamilton Road, Bothwell.” Silver Bead Front Sight. Some Very, Very Light Bluing Wear Towards The Muzzle On The Barrel And On The Long Trigger Tang. Case Color Is In Excellent Condition, Approximately 80%, Lockup Is Secure With Very Little Play, The Top Lever Sits Close To Center When Barrels Are Closed And Engraving Is Pristine. Supplied With The Original Makers Leather Vertical Motor Case With Black & Gold David Mckay Brown Gunmaker Trade Label And The Following Accessories: David Mckay Brown Set Of Snap Caps, Handcrafted Gun Oil Pot, Two Maker’s Flathead Screwdrivers And Set Of Spare Strikers. Original Owner, Made to Order in 1993 and Unchanged Since Delivery.

Chokes are fixed with .0125 inch constriction in the top barrel and .0085 constriction in the bottom barrel.
