This is a good example of early Syracuse Arms “The Hollenbeck” model. Hollenbeck was the inventor and patentee. It would grade antique “Very Fine”. It appears to be all original but has a broken top lever spring.The fine twist barrels ring, have very good bright bores, and good twist finish. The original stock varnish is about 90%. The checkering is distinct and shows little or no wear. The action retains a little case color and is clean without rust or corrosion.
