Description: REMINGTON Model 1894 SxS HAMMERLESS C&R Shotgun NICE 12 Gauge Side by Side from the Early 1900s with EJECTORS! Here we present a Remington Model 1894 Hammerless Shotgun, manufactured circa the early 1900s in Ilion, New York. The barrels have a Damascus finish with a single bead front sight on a solid rib marked with the one line address. The casehardened action features a top break lever, tang mounted automatic safety and double triggers. Both sides are marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO." It has a checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a factory checkered hard rubber buttplate. Remington Arms was founded in 1816 by Eliphalet Remington in Ilion, New York, as E. Remington and Sons. Remington is America's oldest gun maker and is claimed to be America's oldest factory that still makes its original product. Remington is the largest U.S. producer of shotguns and rifles. The overall condition is near fine. The Damascus pattern remains strong on the barrels and the case colors are still visible on the receiver. The markings are clear. The numbers match. The walnut stock is in very nice shape. The bores are bright and smooth, good condition. The actions are excellent, strong and crisp. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel: 30 inches.
