Ugartechea Model 75 EX, 16 gauge SLE with beautiful 28

Description:
I purchased this gun before Ugatechea went out of business. Lion Country designated this gun as the model IV, but the Ugartechea factory sold it as the model 75 EX. It is a hand-made sidelock ejector with stunning demiblock barrels that are highy pollished, weighing in at 2# 11 oz. There are a fewmarks on the underside, mostly from forend rub. The stock came with a thin oil finish, whch would not repel water, so i applied a coating of Chem-Pak Pro-Custom Hand Rubbing Gunstock Finish. It is a tung oil-urethane compound. I also added a Pachmyar recoil pad, so it would fit me. The engraving is a shallow rose and scroll with about 60% coverage. I thought it was a rolled, impressed type of engraving, but Lion Country assured me that it was hand done. It has a rolled edge triggerguard, disc-set strikers, and gas vents. Overall, it is a solid, well-made gun that will bring many years of service to the next owner.
