W.W. Greener G70 Imperial Grade 12ga ejector Custom

Description:
Made for Frank Fowler (a noted CT businessman, politician and sportsman) and so inlaid by the maker in gold, this is a 6.5 lb Imperial Grade self-acting ejector gun engraved and finished by Greener's best craftsmen in the final days of the 19th century. It was the highest grade of gun offered by Greener at the time, with rather few examples around. The gun remains in high condition having seen little use. 27.5x2.5" nitro (reproof) at 3 tons and .740,  steel barrels, mirror bores R743./730 L742/718 mn wall circa 035 and 033. 14.5x1.5x2.5' neutral stock with lined wood butt. Impeccable condition as professionally restocked (by Walter Kouloch, I am told) with checkering of the highest standard, for the ardent Greener collector!
