Stevens Model 311 Series H Double-Barrel, 12-Gauge Shotgun by Savage Arms
Description: Stevens Model 311 Series H, 12-gauge, double-barrel, shotgun with ventilated rib, double triggers, extractors, and brilliant case colors. Period of manufacture is 1980s. 28-inch barrels – modified choke – designed for 2 ¾-inch and 3-inch shells. Bores are in excellent condition – bright, shiny, and clean. All original finish on metal and wood. This shotgun is a copy of the Savage Fox B, Series H, shotgun. Bluing on the barrels is 99 percent, not perfect, but almost. The case colors are about 98+ percent on the sides and bottom of the boxlock, perhaps 98 percent on the tang. There is a small ½ inch mark on the bottom of the boxlock, about an inch behind the forend. The forearm is excellent condition with no signs of wear. There is a couple of small scratches on the bottom left of the forend, about 1½ inch from the rear end of the forend. The stock is in excellent condition (98 percent). The pistol grip about has a 1½ line of chipping along its bottom edge. The top of the stock, about midways, as a couple bb-size scratches. The bottom of the stock, about an inch + forward of the butt plate, has a couple of very small dent where the stock contacted a harder surface. There are also a couple very small chips where the stock meets the butt plate. The checkering on the forend and stock is deep and crisp signs of wear or other damage. There is one exception – there is one small ding, less than half the size of a bb, on the left size of the stock. The butt plate is original; it is plain with no lettering or markings. Everything on this gun is tight. LOP is 14½ inches (front trigger) and 13 ½ inches (rear trigger). The drop at comb is about 2 inches. The drop at the heel is about 2 ¾ inches. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays USPS Priority mail ($40) and insurance ($9.05) per the USPS . Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash. I will ship the revolver immediately upon receipt of a USPS money order and an FFL. I will also accept a personal check or other type money, as well as bank checks and cashier's checks, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.
