Action features single sidelock with Dolphin hammer with game bird vignettes. Action body with underlever locking bolt has additional waterfowl and shore bird vignettes with simple scroll highlights. Full figured walnut splinter forend with horn tip, capped pistol grip stock, flat point checkering. 14-1/2" LOP over solid pad. Gun is very fine retaining most of its factory original finish with strong Damascus pattern showing through original barrel brown. Action body and lock have strong case colors in protected areas the balance turning to silver and brown patina. Stock and forend are sound with strong original finish and a few scattered handling marks throughout. Pad has crystallized. Bright bore, mechanics are crisp, action is tight.
