Description: German made, side-lock action, Franz Kettner Double Barrel Shotgun fitted with 29 3/8 inch barrrels with solid sight rib (barrels choked Full & Full), checkered walnut firearm with ebony tip and engraved metal parts, checkered walnut pistol grip stock with shadow line cheek rest, engraved steel pistol grip cap, and basket weave carved horn butt-plate (held to stock with engraved screws), european style sling swivels, engraved color case-hardened finished receiver, horn trigger guard with engraved steel forward reinforcement frame, double triggers, automatic ejectors, and chambered in 16 Gauge, 2 9/16 Chambers. The shotgun is in excellent original condition, retaining 95% original blue on the barrels, and all color case-hardened parts retaining most all of their finishes, with even fading. The stock and forearm retain most all of their original finishes, with assorted minor handling marks. It is all numbers matching: Frame to barrels, forearm, butt-plate, and stock. The bores are beautiful and the action is tight and functions perfectly. Measurements: 14 1/4 inch LOP (front trigger to back of butt-plate) and 2 1/4 inch drop.
