Description: ****SOLD**** 1950s manufactured Savage Model 755A with a 26" barrel. The Model 755A was Savage's answer to the Browning Auto-5.This particular example features a 26" barrel, fixed improved cylinder choke, and checkered walnut stock set. The blue finish across the barreled action is in good overall condition with a small amount of light handling marks and slight high-edge wear. The walnut stock set is in equally good condition with no signs of major damage, chips, or repairs. The stock does have a replacement buttplate ( which could use some fitting ) and a small crack on the right side near the trigger guard ( see last photo ). The bore of the 26" barrel is bright and shows no signs of dings, dents, or pitting. All the factory markings are fully visible and the action is still tight.
