REMINGTON MODEL 17 20 GA. PUMP SHOTGUN WITH 28" BARREL, CIRCA 1928. Serial number matching on barrel as well. Original forend and buttstock with original buttplate although some early form of "bondo" used to create bigger lip on pistol grip cap popular today. Checkering was accentuated through the bondo in line with original checkering. Bondo beginning to shrink but could be peeled off(that being said it feels pretty good). Early professional reblue tastefully done with all markings still crisp. 28" barrel marked "Mod" and still modified. Piece of eletrical tape holding takedown pin from falling out. Works as it should and will clean up nicely. Smooth, crisp and quickly cycles rounds as took out for few dove last season. Just needs some TLC for clean up of surface crud.
