A Best Quality Sidelock Ejector 12 gauge shotgun incorporating the Beesley self-opening system. The 27” barrels have 2-3/4" chambers, a concave game rib and are choked Improved Cylinder (1/4) - Right & Modified (1/2) - Left. The rib is engraved J. Purdey & Sons. Audley House. South Audley Street. London. Made of Sir Joseph Whitworth's Fluid Pressed Steel. Traditional fine Rose & Scroll engraving, Case color hardened finish, Bushed firing pins (Disk set strikers), Flat Trigger Guard, Double triggers, Best quality walnut stock, Drop points, Traditional English straight hand grip, Splinter forend with Anson release, 14-1/2" LOP to a checkered butt, Cast Off 1/8” at face, 6 Lbs. 9 Oz.
