A heritage Purdey over and under 20 bore ejector gun with 30” solid matted rib barrels. Choked modified and full. 14 ½” length of pull over a checkered buffalo horn butt plate.
Prince of Wales stock with an engraved grip cap, single trigger on a square bar action, auto-safety, drop points, single small brass front bead, gold inlaid “SAFE” by the beetle style safety catch, vacant gold oval, gold-lined cocking indicators, and a rolled edge trigger guard. The chambers measure 3”. The gun was proofed in London in 2004 with 2 3/4" chambers.
Martin Smith engraved and signed. House rose and scroll engraving. Case color hardened action and furniture. Well figured walnut stock. Excellent bores and near perfect bluing, which is turning plum, on barrels. Most all case colors remain. The wood and checkering remain in excellent condition. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
