Perazzi/Winchester TM-1 single barrel trap 34" (His gun)

Description:
Perazzi TM-1 34” single barrel trap gun.  To this day the Perazzi Single Barrel Trap Gun is the winningest SBT ever made!  A Winchester import made in 1980 this TM-1 was shot competitively, but not shot to the point that it needs any “attention” at all; quite to the contrary the gun is solid in all respects. 

I recently acquired this TM-1 from the original owner (His gun) who had it embellished just for him…very handsome custom forearm and matching stock custom made to his dimensions:  15” LOP over the adjustable butt plate and Pachmayr trap pad; 1 ¼” DAC, 1” drop at Monte Carlo and 1 7/16” drop at the heel with neutral cast.  Fine fleur-de-lis checkering compliments the highly figured walnut.   Further personalizing the gun, he had the trigger guard engraved and gold inlaid with his initials.  A new trigger guard is available from Perazzi.

To improve the shooting of this gun the original owner had C C Seitz lengthen the forcing cones, back bore the barrel to .740” with a choke of .031” and he had it ported.  

Mechanically this gun is in excellent shape with tight lock-up and the top lever returns to center, the barrels are squarely on-face with the receiver and the bore is perfect.  As the gun is right now the ejector hammer has been removed from the forearm iron so the gun acts as extractor.  The ejector hammer, pin and spring are in the case.

Cosmetically the gun has been used and well cared for; 95-96% original blue and 97% wood finish with an old, very solid repair to the bottom of the forearm at the iron.

Weighs 8 lbs. 11 oz. and balances just behind the hinge pin.  Factory cased.
