Truly spectacular and finest engraved Parker AHE 20ga- A superior example of Parker's Finest Game Scene engraving!
Description: One of the finest AHE Parker's I have had the privilege of handling! This gun made on a "0" Frame with 28" barrels Acme Steel barrels that have very rare flat rib. Splinter forend is full coverage checkered with fully engraved Deeley latch release and iron. Casehardened receiver is truly spectacularly engraved and I would say the finest I have seen on any AHE Parker. This gun with Turkey and Pointer on left side, large relief Grouse on trigger plate and Fox on bottom of frame, right side with Pheasant and Pointer. Blued trigger guard with Setter and scroll on bow and SN at tang. The gold capped pistol grip buttstock is beautifully carved and checkered as seen in the photos and terminates with what appear to be factory original heel and toe clips. Gun built with double triggers (Front trigger is articulated) auto ejectors, and auto safety. Initials E.G.B. found in the grip cap and this gun is well documented as having been the property of Ms. Elizabeth G. Borden, of Borden Dairy/Milk processing family in New York. The gun remains in beautiful overall condition. Barrels with about 98% blue remaining. Stocks are excellent and sound with nearly all of their original finishes remaining. Frame has toned to gray with some case color remaining in the engraving. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are perfect. This is a stunning and gorgeous Parker! This fantastic Parker is priced at $49,500 plus shipping to your FFL. It would be impossible to improve upon the quality and history of this beautiful AHE Parker and it is suitable for a most discerning collection! Please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions or reasonable offers at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Shotgun Gauge: 20 Gauge Manufacturer: Parker Bros.
