Rare Parker DH Grade 12ga made with factory original Vulcan Steel barrels - Great gun for the $$

Description:
 Made on a 1-1/2 frame with factory original 30" Vulcan steel brls that have matted concave top rib and small steel front bead. Rib inscription reads "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. VULCAN STEEL". Splinter forend checkered in point and diamond pattern with engraved steel tip, Deeley latch release, and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver is scroll engraved with Pointer on left, Setter on right, both in oval game scene, and "PARKER BROS." in banner on sides. Trigger plate with 4 birds in diamond shaped vignette. Blued trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, SN at tang. Gun made with nickel plated double triggers, extractors, non-auto safety. Nicely figured round knob pistol grip buttstock has carved teardrops behind receiver, is checkered in point pattern through the wrist, has silver oval on toeline, and terminates with an aging Silvers type pad. 

Overall, the gun remains in excellent as restored condition. Barrels retain nearly all of a proper rust re-black. Forearm is excellent as restored with some minor wood missing on left side of forend at brl and towards tip. Frame retains nearly all of its proper bone and charcoal restored color. Buttstock is very good as restored. Bores are bright and shiny.

According to "The Parker Story" only 16 Grade 3 (DH Grade) guns built with Vulcan Steel brls were made!
