Parker 16 Ga CHE Skeet, 1 Frame, Straight Hand, 28" BBLS, Vent Rib, 1928 Manf, Huey Case, Wonderful Condition on This Set.
Description: Parker CHE 16 Gauge. This gun is being relisted due to the fact that the gun had cast-on that we missed. The buyer was refunded and we sent the gun to JJ Perodeau to be bent to neutral cast. The job was done perfectly with no marring to the finish and the bend is stable. Neat original configuration Parker, The barrels are 28" with a factory vent rib, strong blue, Acme steel as shown in the serialization book, Bores are mirror, both measure at .665 and both have wall thickness at .025 minimum, Chokes are skeet in and out, .004 in both, 2 3/4" chamber. The action shows CHE factory engraving with sharp edges, case color is 80% with loss at edges and at the bottom of the frame near the fore end commiserate with carrying the gun in the field, barrels are tight on the face with the fore end off the gun, the trigger is a Miller non selectable single trigger that functions well, auto safe, all screws are properly indexed and in good condition, ejectors are strong and in time. The stocks are in above average condition with chequering and finish in 90% overall condition, the wood has very nice figure with nice contrast, Length of pull is 14 1/2" to a skeleton butt, 1 5/8" drop at comb, 2 3/8" drop at heel, butt stock is numbered to the gun, small handling marks toward the end of the butt.
