A superb Parker Grade 6 10ga hammer gun - choice original condition w/Spectacular stock carving!
Description: One of the great rarities in all of Parker shotguns are the early high grade hammer guns in excellent original condition! This gun, a Grade 6 (Top of the line at the time) 10ga with 30" Damascus barrels. Wedge fastened splinter forend which is very nicely checkered. The casehardened frame is beautifully engraved in fine detail, most likely the work of Jacob Glahn. The buttstock is a phenomenal work of art with rams horn and shell carved pistol grip. It is finely checkered and I have only observed this treatment on 2 other Parkers. The butt terminates with it's original skeleton buttplate. This gun remains in superb overall original condition. Barrels with more than 90% original pattern remaining. Frame retains about 85% fine original case color. Stocks are sound and excellent with minor handling marks and original finish throughout. Bores are bright. Mechanics are excellent. Undoubtedly the best Grade 6 I've offered in years and the stock treatment is just the cherry on top - none finer! This fantastic early Parker is priced at $15,900 plus shipping. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions or reasonable offers.
