B C Miroku MK-38 Sporting 12 gauge

Description:
B C Miroku model MK-38 12 gauge Sporting.  Never heard of a B C Miroku?  Look closely and notice the uncanny resemblance to a Browning Gr VII Sporting?  All of the Browning Citori’s are made by B C Miroku in Japan.  It appears from the factory paperwork, that Browning in Belgium, distributes these guns.  More paperwork shows that this gun, although made in Japan, was proof tested in Liege, Belgium and the 8 factory extended chokes tubes are made by Teague of England specifically for this MK-38 Sporting.

12 gauge, 30” barrel with a 3/8” wide sporting style flat vent rib with front and mid beads and finished in a deep, bright blue.

The stock and Schnabel are cut from a very handsome piece of walnut and finish in a proper oil finish versus that “plastic” finish on the Brownings!  The LOP is 15” over a Pachmayr Decelerator presentation pad; 1 7/16” DAC and 2” DAH with a slight cast favoring a right hand shooter.

Excellent overall condition showing that it was shot sparingly.  Metal finishes are 99% and the wood is 97% with some “rub” marks on the right side panel where it meets the action.  The marks look like “rubs” from a left hand shooter’s vest..nothing deep, no damage.

As mentioned above the gun comes with eight (8) factory chokes tubes, all paperwork and the original box.  At this price you are getting Browning's highest grade Citori Sporting gun with additional extras not available on Citori Sports for a fraction of the Citori price!!

This a great looking, great handling Sporting gun that weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz. and balances nicely between the hands.
