Merkel 47E SxS shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. Made in GDR (German Democratic Republic) or East German. This Merkel shotgun has the following features: 28" inch sold ribbed chopper lump barrels with Holland and Holland ejectors, white bead front sight, fixed chokes (1/4 Quarter Choke 55 - 60 35m & 3/4 Improved 65 - 70 35m Modified), Greener cross-bolt with double under barrel locking lugs, scroll engraved case-colored scalloped Anson and Deely boxlock action, side clips and receiver ledge, firing pin indicators, automatic tang safety, double triggers, hard buttplate, splinter forearm, and a dark hand checkered walnut stock with a shadow line cheek piece. Manufactured on September 1986 according information found on the Internet. Overall very lightly used Excellent condition. 12 Gauge
