The Trigger Sports Companies have worked with Jack Dockwiller since the 1970s and have seen most of the magnificent stocks and engraving Jack produced until 2018 when he created his last works and left us with his legacy as one of the Greatest Wood-smiths to have custom designed and fitted a wood stock to most of the major high grade shotgun receivers in modern history.

We had the honor of being a personal friend of Jack’s and reveled in the joy and excitement every time we received a shotgun case marked from J. L. Dockwiller Company in Redlands California. The opening always drew a crowd in our showroom because we knew we would see something very special. We established DockwillerGunsmiths site, as a Memorial to Jack’s life and the Great Wood Master that he quickly became. This was the case when we received “The Tiger Queen” Krieghoff set from Jack in 2016. Trigger Sports had selected motif for the Greco Roman K-32 Exhibition Grade shotguns from the Dockwiller Greco Roman Collection and sent it back to Jack where it was originally engraved with the Roman Angel/Bengal Tiger design and stocked with fully adjustable French Walnut Exhibition Stock and Forearm. We wanted to fabricate a unique high grade custom 4 gauge skeet set for the shooter that provides the highest functionality matched with the extreme elegance of a Dockwiller Exhibition shotgun.

To ensure the best quality and versatility Jack fitted a new Krieghoff 30 inch, high adjustable rib set of 12 Gauge Sporting Barrels to the Tiger Queen receiver and balanced and fitted the shotgun with Dockwiller expertise. The Stock was appointed with a fully adjustable comb and butt plate for a twelve (12) adjustment capability. To provide the four (4) gauge competition skeet and sporting clays capability, our affiliates at Briley Manufacturing installed their finest “ULTIMATE ULTRALIGHT TITANIUM” Tube set with a total of twelve (12) chokes for shooting all clay sports. Chokes are included for the 12, 20, 28, and 410 gauge barrel/tubes.

This Tiger Queen Dockwiller Engraving appears on only “ONE” shotgun. This original engraving is valued at $10,000.

The stock and forearm were chiseled from French Walnut blocks at a cost of $8,000.  The adjustable comb and butt plate hardware and installation runs $1200.

The Briley Tubes with extra chokes was over $2,000 fitted with a lifetime warranty.

The new Krieghoff high rib adjustable barrels were $3200 fitted, polished, and tuned by Jack Dockwiller and laser tested for perfection.

To match the quality, we had Americase build a custom Trigger/Clay Sports aluminum carrying/shipping case with deluxe appointments and three combination security locks. The custom Trigger Sports Americase was one of six made for Clay Sports international at 995.00 with appointments. This aircraft grade case has two center flaps to protect the cargo and a compartment for the six Briley tubes.  The super set has custom triggers and polished interfaces to enhance functionality.

Trigger Sports will provide a laser Stock Fitting set with the purchase which will save hours on the pattern board to fit the adjustable stock and butt plate. The laser works with all 12, 20, 28, and 410 gauge shotguns. Laser Sets are normally $499.
