Ithaca/Lefever A Grade, Model 6 Skeet

Description:
This is an Ithaca/Lefever, A grade, 12ga., 26" barrels stamped 1&2, #301063 (1935)
Beavertail forearm, single trigger, ejectors, double beads. I'm not a Ithaca/Lefever expert by any means but from researching the models and options this is an A grade, Model 6 Skeet.

This gun has been professionaly restored years ago and it doesn't look like it has been fired much since. I cannot confirm one way or another, but from the perfect case coloring, Blueing, and checkering I would guess it was a Turnbull restoration. The barrel and trigger guard Blue is 99% BUT it does have a small blem on the left barrel near the receiver. It looks like a rub mark has been touched up with cold blue. It is about 1/4" round. but you can see it. The picture shows the mark. You can also see the chambers in the pictures.

The gun locks up tight and the top lever is right of center when closed. LOP is 13-3/4" including a reproduction Ithaca recoil pad.
Overall a really well done restoration of a model that wasn't produced in large numbers.
