Beautiful Ithaca Grade 4E 10ga 3 1/2" NID

Description:
SN 500045.  Made with 32" Best Fluid steel barrels, 3 1/2" chambers.  Barrels have matted concave top rib with white mid bead and hi-viz front bead.  Polished barrel flats with serial number, original chamber stamp and 4 Grade designation.  Splinter forearm is nicely scroll and point pattern checkering, panel checkered with triangular ebony tip and lightly engraved blued Deeley latch release and iron.  Inside of forend has serial number and grade designation.  Robust magnum boxlock action- beautifully engraved with visible case coloring, likely by McGraw, in shaded floral leaf pattern with pheasant in field scene on the right, flying duck in marsh on the left and shaded floral scroll on the bottom.  Barrel fences with diamond geometric design.  Top of frame and top lever with shaded floral scroll and cocking indicators on top of frame.  Gun made with single non-selective trigger, auto ejectors and non-auto safety.  Mounted with a very pretty piece of flame figured American walnut which is fleur-de-lis pattern checkered thru the wrist, has capped pistol grip and terminates with what appears to be its original leather faced Hawkins brand pad.  Gold shield on toe line with initials SJZ.  WEIGHT- 10 lbs 11, min wall thickness is .058 (both), bore diameter .780 (R), .777 (L), bore restriction  .54 (R), .049 (L), DAC is 1 11/16", DAH is 2", LOP is 13 3/4".  CONDITION-  Excellent for this rare grade and configuration.  Barrels with about 90% of their original blue.  There are a number of small oxidation spots on top of both tubes.  Forearm is excellent and sound and reetains most of its original finish and more than 85% original blue on the forearm iron and latch.  Receiver retains more than half of its light original case color with engraving still crisp throughout.  Trigger guard with more than 80% of its original blue.   Buttstock is excellent and sound with scattered light handling marks and impressions and retains more than 90% of its original finish.  Pad is beginning to harden, bores are bright and shiny, mechanics are excellent.  This is an extremely rare gun.  $75 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
