This is a scarce 20 gauge Ithaca NID Field Grade hunting gun in fine overall condition...The 28" barrels are choked cylinder and improved cylinder. 2 3/4" chambers with fine bright bores...14" length of pull over solid pad. Drops are 1 1/4 and 2 1/4... Weighs 6 1/2 pounds...Serial number 459xxx...Gun has been professionally restocked in straight grained walnut, with professional finishing work in evidence. New wood awaits new checkering...Overall, a nice late 20 gauge NID with stock dimensions preferred by some shooters...Over the years, more than one grouse hunter has proclaimed the 20 gauge Ithaca NID to be his ideal bird gun...
