Superb Pinless full sidelock Famars Abbiattico and Salvinelli 12ga/20ga 2 barrel set with case- Dassa Engraved!

Description:
This superb gun is a "Jorema Royal" (called the Sovereign after 2002) with optional detachable sidelocks. It has two sets of 29 3/4" demibloc bbls. with choke tubes, one in 20 ga., the other in 12. Both are fitted with slightly raised matted ventilated ribs and ventilated sideribs. Maker's name and "MADE IN ITALY" are on left side of top bbl. and importer's info (Nova) is on right. Bbl. flats are stamped with 1995 Italian Nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers. Coin finished, low profile pinless sidelock action features nonautomatic safety, single selective trigger and removable sidelocks with hidden pushbutton releases on right lockplate. Action and lockplates are engraved with about 80% coverage exceptionally well cut and nicely shaded small size scroll by the noted Italian engraver Dassa who's signature appears on trigger plate. Serial number is on trigger guard tang. Exhibition quality dramatically marbled and figured European walnut extreme pistol grip buttstock measures 14 7/8" over black "Decelerator" sporting clays type pad. Well cut closely spaced point pattern checkering is on grip with right hand palm swell. Each bbl. set has its own dedicated slim shnabled field forend with Anson type release, having release button in central steel escutcheon.

Gun remains in very fine all original condition with evidence of limited use. Firing halos are present on breech face. Bbls. retain over 95% original blue with a few scattered light marks. Action retains nearly all of its coin finish without any evident darkening or cleaning. There are only a few scattered light marks in stock finish. Bores are all bright and shiny. Mechanically fine. Case shows some minor marks on exterior. Interior has some minor compressions and soiling. When last available, the base price of the Sovereign Extra was over 40,000 euros! The extra barrels and detachable locks would have cost even more!!
