What a superb creation Connecticut Shotgun has with their Christian Hunter series of British inspired, top-quality side x side shotguns.  From the creative/engineering genius of Tony Galazan has been created a unique PINLESS BOXLOCK EJECTOR ACTION WITH A UNIQUE DROP PLATE DESIGN THAT PROVIDES AN UNINTERRUPTED SURFACE FOR ENGRAVING, ACCESS TO THE MECHANICS, INCLUDING GOLD-WASHED INTERNALS, SCALLOPED BACK OF ACTION, EACH WITH A FRAME SCALED TO THE GAUGE.  This is a stunning .410 bore side x side, new from the factory and engraved in a deep chiseled banknote scroll and a detailed quail in flight adorning the removable bottom plate of the action.  This tiny, scalloped frame is finished in luscious bone and charcoal case color, gold plated trigger, gold-washed internals, and the word “safe” inlaid in gold.  It is a very elegant presentation without being gaudy.  The gun is new, and the mechanics are crisp, with strong well-timed ejectors, crisp single selective trigger, solid auto safety, everything tight as a new gun should be.  There are only two screws in the action and one in the long tang trigger guard, all untouched.  The beauty of this gun is there are no pins or screws showing through the sides of the action to distract from the extra cost engraving and case color.  THE ENGRAVING ON THIS CHRISTION HUNTER IS SUPERIOR TO ALL YOU WILL SEE ON THE INTERNET.  The 28” barrels are choked F/F from the factory, and as part of the price CSMC will make the chokes any constriction you like within a few weeks of purchase.  NOW…THE WOOD!  Gunners love wood and to get something stunning will add to the cost of the gun, but most are happy to pay the price.  The buttstock and forearm are shaped out of a truly exceptional piece of exhibition English walnut with perfect layout through the wrist.  The diminutive beavertail forend is barely wider than the barrels and the Prince of Wales grip flows with the graceful lines of this gun.  Terminating in a Purdey style thin leather covered pad, this package…action, engraving, wood, leather pad, all scaled to the .410 bore, is simply a work of art.  Review the photos and I am sure you will agree.  Weighing just 5lbs. 7oz. and balanced on the hinge pin, the handling dynamics can only be compared to a British BEST.  Cased in the factory case and adorned with nearly every option offered, this gun would exceed $24,000 in value on the CSMC site.  We are privileged to offer this incredible Christian Hunter .410 at a wholesale price.  THIS IS NOT AN OPPORTUNITY TO MISS.  See the specification below.  Follow this link to explore the factory descriptions of this masterpiece:  ://connecticutshotgun.co/christian-hunter-double-barrel-shotgun/   Thanks for looking!
