It is an unusually crafted sidelock as the internal lock pins (screws in American terms) do not show on the outside of the locks like found on most all the other English guns. This takes considerably more time and skill to achieve. Internally the locks are crafted as beautiful as any Swiss watch.

In its original makers case this fine shotgun would make a superb upland gun.
I personally would open the right barrel to skeet and it would be ready to go!
