CHURCHILL XXV REGAL QUALITY SxS 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN
Description: 25 inch barrels with brass bead on a narrow matted Churchill rib. "XXV" marked over the breech with one of the X's missing the gold inlay. Barrels are marked "Churchill (Gunmakers) Ltd" and "61 Pall Mall St James's London England". Barrel Flats marked with modern Birmingham nitro proofs. Barrels retain virtually all of a good quality re-black with only a few very minor marks. Choked Modified and Improved Cylinder. Action has "Churchill" in a ribbon on each side along with delicate scroll engraving and "The Regal" on the underside. Mechanics are fine. Double triggers. Stocks have been freshened and are in very good condition with just a few handling mars. Cast On for a right hand shooter. Sharp checkering on forearm, buttstock and butt end. A small inscription plaque on the bottom of the buttstock is blank. 14-1/4 inches LOP from front trigger. DAC 1-1/2 inches. DAH 2 inches. Weight is 6 punds 3 ounces. Housed in a green canvas wrapped case bearing the Churchill label on the inside lid. Accessories include pair of snap caps, 2 part cleaning rod, patches and ends for the cleaning rod.
