High Grade Browning Citori Over/Under Shotgun in 28 Gauge **Japan Made - Beautiful Engraving and Wood**
Description: For consideration is a very clean high grade Browning Citori over/under shotgun in 28 gauge. The Browning Citori is a classic over/under shotgun equally at home in the field or shooting clays. In 1973, Browning launched the successor to the famed Superposed — the Citori. Produced by Miroku Corporation in Nangoku, Japan, the Citori utilized the same design as the Superposed, and included a number of changes to the original design that streamlined manufacturing and made the Citori more affordable, putting these fine shotguns in the hands of even more users. 50 years later, the best-selling Citori continues to inspire shooters with balanced handling, unwavering reliability and traditional elegance. This particular Citori is in very good overall condition exhibiting just light handling marks. The gloss finish on the stock shows lots of reflections from the photo lights but it has nothing serious on the wood....there is one spot where the gloss is thinning on the right side at the top of the very back of the stock just ahead of the pad. The 26" barrel has a good bore, vent rib and a front bead sight. The barrels are choked top mod (**) and imp cyl bottom (**-). The barrels have 2 3/4" chambers. The wood is beautiful and metalwork is handsomely embellished with outdoor field scenes. This fine Browning would be an outstanding field gun for small game birds.
