Near New in Original Box 1977 Belgian Browning Superposed Presentation Grade P2M 12ga Field Gun Signed by Jose Baerten
Description: Up for sale is a fairly scarce and quite exceptional Belgium Browning Superposed P2M "Presentation" Grade in its factory original box with the end label still in tact. This gun on its own is quite a rarity for condition, quality, and configuration, but to add the original box on top is quite exceptional. In total only approximately 1400 of the P Series Superposed were produced for all grades (P1 through P4). The engraving is well executed and signed by J. Baerten, who at the time of this guns production, was the head of the engraving department for Browning and FN. The wood is a very high quality walnut with great color and grain present. The stock is factory fitted with a butt pad, barrels measure 26 inches and are choked Improved Cylinder over Skeet, and the forearm is the standard slim or "field" configuration. This is a great shotgun and you will be very hard pressed to improve upon it! Vintage firearms are a passion of mine.
