Browning Superposed 12ga LNIB Unfired ca. 1951 28" Solid Rib
Description:
Near new unfired vintage Belgian made Browning Superposed 12ga over/under shotgun with original box, papers and factory letter. Serial number in the 21xxx range with factory letter stating this one was shipped in March of 1951 to Hopkings Sporting Goods in Des Moines, IA. 28” full rib barrels choked MOD/FULL. All original condition with factory original finish on metal and wood that is about perfect. Bores are mirror bright and there is no indication this one was fired. There is a touch of thinning where the safety slides back and forth…otherwise this one is a time capsule. Factory Browning marked butt plate. Round knob, long tang. Notice the factory blue trigger. All numbers match. The original box is numbered and matches the gun and is in excellent shape (original boxes for this vintage Browning Superposed are very rare). The box contains the original wax type paper wrapping, cardboard inserts and envelope and booklet. Even the stapled box corners are still intact. A very difficult early 1950’s Browning Superposed 12ga that would be hard to improve upon.
